Description

Rainbow Bee-Eaters might seem like a bird from a child’s imagination with their rainbow-coloured feathers, long tail streamers, red eyes and long curved bill. Their plumage is among the most strikingly colourful of all Australian birds. They are known for their impressive aerial acrobatics as they catch insects in mid-flight and can sometimes be found huddled in groups along branches.
